Leeds is the original home of the WH Group and the Retail operational office and there are numerous William Hill shops all around the area. There are now approximately 50 staff working for WH Online, which is based at City Walk, seven minutes from Leeds City Centre and train station. WH Online employs technical and project management staff here and they work closely with the Tel Aviv and Gibraltar offices to help grow our business. Working closely with their retail colleagues has also encouraged cross product understanding.
The WH Online head office is located in Gibraltar at the southern tip of Spain. It's grown from 10 to 300 people in two and a half years establishing itself as the local employer of choice. It continues to be one of the most respected and successful brands in the industry, a leader in the market and the forward-thinking technology, gaming and betting company. Staff have come from over 20 different countries to help build the WH Online. We provide a full relocation services to support our staff including provision for removals, school and home search and advice on banking. And once staff have moved, we provide further information for them and their families to take part in sport, days out and social events.
In Sofia we have approximately 160 Customer Service staff who provide European telephone and email support to both sports and gaming clients. Our staff have a high level of linguistic skills and consider the customer at the heart of everything they do. The new offices are beautifully decorated and have lots of space to relax.
In Tel Aviv, we employ specialist online marketeers, search engine optimisers and technical experts that are helping to grow our gaming business. Based in the hi-tech capital of the middle-east, Tel Aviv is an exciting office and we encourage our staff to visit when possible.
WH have a number of secondees working in the Manila Playtech office and here a number of staff work solely on WH work. Manila provide email and live chat services to our clients as well as monitoring for fraudulent customer trends and it has provided them with an opportunity to diversify their skills and understand a new culture.
