As you'll see in 'The story of a bet' there are many different support departments and divisions who all work together to ensure that our systems work, our shops have everything they need and our teams are all well looked after, whether that's with the training and development they need or just making sure everyone gets paid on time!
Our head office operations are primarily based in London and Leeds where our teams in Marketing, Finance, IT, HR and Training and Development underpin the whole business. They provide the drive and innovation to ensure that we maintain our market leading brand, develop the very best talent and provide the technology infrastructure upon which our business thrives.
In addition, our Surveyors and Building Services teams ensure that our extensive property portfolio caters for the needs of customers and colleagues alike.
Our Trading Department compiles the odds on a huge array of sports and events and William Hill accept bets on over 38,000 events from all over the world, covering over 20 different sports. As well as this our Trading team ensures that our business is not over exposed to risk. They utilise a broad range of knowledge to ensure that all the judgments we make are well informed.
We also have a Racing Operations team who work 'on-course'. They are at the sharp end of our business, providing information that shapes the bets we offer to our customers, as well as operating trading on racecourses as William Hill bookmakers.
